HOW TO RE-REGISTER A RED HAT ENTERPRISE LINUX SYSTEM

If you have a Red Hat system registered to an account on the Red Hat Network and you need to register it into a different account, do the following:

1. Log into the machine as root.
2. Go to /etc/sysconfig/rhn
3. Either make a backup and delete or just move the file systemid
4. Register the machine using the up2date tools and your account credentials or the rhnreg_ks and an activation code.
